Christ Gospel churches have no formal recruitment
or indoctrination program. New members simply learn about the church
from others and begin attending and studying the Bible. As in other
churches, members come and go as they choose. No one church can meet
everyone's needs, and different individuals are called to serve God
in various capacities and within various denominations.

The church practices the Biblical principle of tithing, but there
is less emphasis on giving and fund-raising than in most denominations.
Sometimes,usually in the international conventions, special offerings
are taken, but unlike most churches, the church conducts no organized
fund-raising campaign where church leaders personally solicit pledges
from each member.
Christ Gospel Churches International, Inc. has been an integral part
of the Jeffersonville community for over 30 years. Christ Gospel members
include successful professionals, business persons, university professors,
engineers, nurses, doctors, lawyers, as well as ordinary laborers.
Its people reflect a wide cross-section of talents, socio-economic
levels, races, and ages. Its adult members account for more than $25
million in the local economy. One church member, a businessman who
has relocated to this area, has created more than 650 new jobs for
local residents. His annual payroll alone is over $11 million. The
presence of Christ Gospel in Jeffersonville always has been positive.
