Fallen Lucifer, Son of the Morning, who was once a bright and shining star in Heaven, lost his high and lofty position because of his pride. Pride was Lucifer’s master sin, and because of it, he was cast out of Heaven. Lucifer is the perpetrator of pride in this present world. He sends his Spirits of Pride to entice the human heart away from Jesus Christ’s Cross and Way of Humility. Lucifer controls the four Spirits of Spiritual Pride that work around the four points of the Cross to attack man’s will; his mind; his heart; and his eyes, through which man finds delight apart from the LORD. But this is not pure delight because it is mingled with sinful grief and sorrow.
This book names these Spirits of Pride, and since their names reveal their natures and the way in which they work in our lives, identifying them helps us to overcome them.
