Men
who were appointed to be leaders of God's people had to meet four
qualifications: (1) They had to be able men, qualified to be leaders.
(2) They had to fear God. (3) They had to be truthful. (4) They
had to hate covetousness. God provided blood for a sin offering
for the High Priest - the ruler in the spiritual realm. And He
provided kid goat blood for a sin offering for the king - the
ruler in the natural realm.
The
last chapter of this book provides examples of rulers and their
temptations. The types of blood sacrifices in the Old Testament
and their power to cleanse rulers are fulfilled in the New Testament
in the Blood of Jesus Christ, Who has made provision for cleansing
for all types of people from all types of sins.

Through

of detail that God employed when He instituted blood sacrifices
